Having worked in the corporate world for 20 years, I realised it was time for a change. When I reflected on my life and considered the times I had enjoyed most, I realised it was the time I had spent bringing up my children. I enjoyed overcoming the challenges I had faced as a parent, and have achieved so much with them that I wanted to share these skills with others. Friends would frequently as me to help them come up with solutions to their parenting problems and I always seemed to be able to help.
A career working with children made sense as the next step forward in life.
I used to be a practice manager in a law firm and offered lots of support to my colleagues. It seemed that being this way is just in my nature. The role required me to be well organised and to show empathy. I have brought these skills into my role as an NLP4Kids practitioner now.
After I completed my NLP4Kids training, I digested the materials and content thoroughly, and as time passed, I became more aware of the problems parents face. I began to formulate solutions based on the skills I had learned in my training and people’s confidence in my skills increased.
I began to carve out the key areas in which I would support children and families after a challenge in my own family. My son never wanted to go to sleep – he used to take ages to get to sleep and would fight it at every opportunity.
After my Hypnotherpy4Kids training, I began using my new skills with him and the results were amazing! After just 6 days I no longer had to follow the process I had developed for him and he was able to take himself to bed and to go to sleep independently. This verified to me, just how effective it is and I created a sleep plan for parents to follow with their children.
If your child:
- Doesn’t go to bed or get sleep easily
- Wakes in the night and cannot get back to sleep
- Experiences night terrors
- Talks of walks in their sleep and disrupts the rest of the house
or has any other sleep conditions, then please get in touch so that I can share my methods with you.
Very often problems in sleep are caused by other factors – such as worries or anxieties about school. Diet can also be a factor and genetics can play a role too.
It’s important that both you and your child receive the right support no matter what the challenge so call me now to arrange a consultation.
